Survivor golf series set to go ahead
The Survivor Golf Series will be gracing the greens of the Atherton Golf club this coming April with its second round being played.

The Survivor Gold Series is a brand new and fresh spin on the concept of ‘boring golf’; it’s a fast paced elimination tournament which combines championship quality golf with a friendly and fun environment.
The tournament three stage tournament is capped at 36 players, which comes down to 12 players then eventually 4 players for the final stage of that tournament round.
It is open to all golfers with no restrictions on entry with prizes to be won on every hole played, prizes can include; longest drive, straightest drive, nearest to pin, hole in one and many more.
With the pressure of COVID-19 shutting down nearly all sports on the Tablelands the Survivor Golf Series assures people that they will still be playing their round at the Atherton Golf Club.
Organiser Dave Cameron has assured people that all necessary precautions are in place to ensure the safety of all participants.
“100 percent we will be taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of all golfers and spectators,” he said.
“Golfers who show signs of the flu will be encouraged not to play; we will still be following the government’s guidelines as we will have much less than 500 in an outdoors area.
“This is a good opportunity for people to get outside and get some fresh air.”
The second round of the series is set to be played on April 19 at the Atherton Golf Club.
