THE second season of the annual Lacy Bra Cup has come to a thrilling close with the finals being played last Sunday.

Cricket Chicks 1 and Mulgrave faced off at Firth Park to decide who would lift the trophy this year.

Mulgrave was sent in to bat first and put up an impressive 142 runs for just 4 wickets lost, putting the pressure on the Cricket Chicks.

The Cricket Chicks were unable to bounce back after a slow opening start losing two wickets for just six runs.

Eventually the Cricket Chicks fell short with six wickets for just 79 runs, gifting Mulgrave their first ever finals win.
