Spring theme for Cup
CELEBRATING spring in the country will be the theme of this Saturday’s Atherton Cup race meeting at Tolga’s Morrow Park.
The five-race card includes the Atherton Cup and the Open Handicap, with prizemoney for the two big races totalling $34,000.
But apart from the action on the track, all eyes will be on the beautiful spring-themed fashion which should make this year’s competition a colourful one.
The afternoon will be packed with fun, food and entertainment, with live music from Matty Hoare.
Another feature of the day will be the Cowgirl Country & Handmade by Bec stall where patrons can bring their own hat or boots and have them branded for free.
Patrons can still reserve their own undercover area equipped with tables, chairs and skip the bar line with a personalised bulk pre ordered drinks esky readily available under your marquee.
