Still time to catch local art exhibits

THIS week is the last chance to view the multimedia exhibition, Miracles, at the Tableland Regional Gallery in Atherton.

Created by renowned local artist Amanda Feher, the display is a moving and fascinating journey of early-onset menopause, in vitro fertilisation, egg donation and the traumatic moments that peppered her progress toward having the beautiful family she and her husband now enjoy.

The exhibition is open until Saturday 17 January at the gallery at 16 Robert Street.

Also showing for its final weeks (until 24 January) is Earth Poems, by Jean McMaster, which explores the nature of local materials through wood-fired ceramics. The collection is at the Old Post Office Gallery, 86 Atherton-Herberton Rd, Atherton.
