TML comes to the party
HOPING for some music to take you through the festive season? The Tablelands Music Lovers won’t let you down.

During December, the club will be holding several events to bring you into the new year, beginning with local band, Bar Code, playing on Friday night at the Grainger Lane venue in Atherton.
Featuring rock, country, and pop, the band includes Kerry Maidment-Jones on vocals, Neil Hodgson on bass, Rob Murray on drums and Peter Jones on guitar.
The music starts at 7.30pm. Entry costs $10 for member and $15 for non-members.
If you find that inspiring, the next open mic night will be held on Sunday 21 December, from 2pm. The popular live show allows audience members, whether amateur or professional, to showcase their music on stage for 30 minutes.
Getting closer to the end of 2026, three-piece band Klockwerk will bring it home with a night of high-energy rock from Rosco Devine on vocals and lead guitar, Julian Devine on drums and Bradley Grant on bass.
Having just entertained the crowd at TML headquarters at the start of December, the band returns for another rousing night, kicking off at 7.30pm, on Saturday 27 December. Entry is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
And just as you think you can have a breather, Area 51 and Froggy Le Blanc will return to Grainger Lane on 9 January 2026, after having to cancel due to illness in November.
As the promo says, “Get ready for an out-of-this-world night of live rock”, with Area 51 playing covers of classic and modern hits with “high energy and an alien edge” as well as Froggy Le Blanc bringing a blend of rock, pop, and doof, guaranteed to keep everyone moving all night long.
The night starts from 7.30pm, with the member charge of $10 and $15 for non-members.
