Tradie Golf returns
THE ever-popular Tradie Golf Day will return to the Mareeba Golf Club this month after a long wet season.
Local golfers are only just beginning to soak up the recent good weather out on their respective courses, and they’ll be pleased to know that the first Tradie Day of 2026 is set to be held later this month.
The event format will remain the same – a 9-hole, 2-ball ambrose competition, with a cost of just $20 per player.
Following the match, players can enjoy a barbecue (which is included in registration fees) before the presentation ceremony where winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded.
No handicap is required to play and the event will kick off 3.30pm sharp on Friday 24 April, with players asked to arrive early for registrations.
