TRC spends $1.7m on new vehicles

A NEW backhoe, 16 new commercial vehicles and two tipper trucks have been purchased by Tablelands Regional Council for just over $1.72 million.

The council approved the purchase of the new backhoe from Brown and Hurley Agriculture at Tolga for $235,545; 16 new commercial vehicles from John Cole Toyota including five 4x4 dual cab utilities for $333,731, three 4x4 large capacity dual cab utilities for $302,895, and eight 4x4 single cab utilities for $488,092; and two new crew cab tippers from Irelands Isuzu for $363,631.
