Village kicks off Christmas
HERBERTON will celebrate the start of the festive season with its annual Christmas Market Fair to be held this Friday.

The one-night-only event runs from 4pm to 7pm, with a special visit from Santa arriving on the village’s iconic Dennis Fire Truck at 5.30pm.
With even more local makers taking part this year, the Market Fair will feature 12 artisan stalls filled with handcrafted gifts, homewares and plenty of festive fare.
Visitors can also enjoy complimentary wine and cheese and a coffee and ice cream van as they wander the stalls.
The Village Gift Shop will also offer a 25% discount storewide, giving shoppers the perfect opportunity to stock up on unique Christmas gifts and holiday treasures.
Manager Debbie Keuther said the growing number of stallholders reflected the event’s increasing popularity.
“It’s become a wonderful community night out and a great way to support local makers while ticking off the Christmas list early,” she said.
The Historic Village Herberton Christmas Market Fair will be held on 14 November, from 4pm to 7pm.
