Walking plan for Ravenshoe
THE community is being urged to participate in a new walking network plan for Ravenshoe.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads has provided funding to Tablelands Regional Council to develop the plan to help understand the walking needs and opportunities in Ravenshoe’s central business district.
“We want to hear from the community about how the footpaths in this town are used, what challenges people face with the current footpaths and what footpaths are needed,” Cr Annette Haydon said.
“The information will inform the development of a walking network action plan for Ravenshoe and contribute to securing funding for implementation in the coming years.”
