The young martial artist has impressed gym coach Rosario Signorino over his Muay Thai journey to date and he’s confident Miller will be able to hold his own in the ring.

“Liam started his Muay Thai journey in our kids classes here at Spirit of Muay Thai and has progressed so well that he now trains in both our kids and adult classes. His dedication, work ethic, and willingness to learn have been outstanding,” Signorino said.

“As a coach, it’s rewarding to see young athletes like Liam grow in confidence, discipline and resilience through Muay Thai. He represents our gym exceptionally well and we’re excited to see what the future holds for him.”

Miller has been training hard in the lead up to his debut fight, which will be at the Fight NQ Promotions event in Manunda next Saturday, located at 39 Cannon Street.

“Liam is scheduled to fight on the 27th and is currently preparing hard for the challenge ahead. We are very proud of the progress he has made and the maturity he shows in training and competition,” Signorino said.

The event’s first bout will begin at 3pm, with Miller set to compete in the second fight on the card. He will face off against Jai Yen Muay Thai’s (Townsville) August Teaukura.
